Plans have been announced for the 6th Annual Brandy Winfield Poker Run.
The run will take place on Saturday, June 5th and will again be held at the Knights of Columbus on East Center Street.
The cost will be $15 for a solo rider or $20 for a couple with registration running from 9 AM to 11:30 AM.
Breakfast will start at 8:30 AM and participants will receive a catered dinner that night.

You know spring is near when the JerZee opens in Marion and they opened YESTERDAY!!! I actually drove past twice, it is a block from my house) and both times there was a line. Brrrr!
Also, the new Chipotle Restaurant’s Grande Opening will be tomorrow, Friday February 19th. They are offering special promotion today from 11am-1pm for a FREE burrito. Rest easy my friends, I went yesterday during their ‘Friends and Family’ event and tried it for you, it was delicious!

The Marion Noon Kiwanis Club will hold their 52nd annual Pancake Party next week.
The all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast will take place from 7 AM – 3 PM on Saturday, February 13th.
The event takes place at Tri Rivers Career Center on Marion-Mt. Gilead Road.
Presale tickets, which are available from Kiwanis members, are $4 for adults and $2 for children under the age of 12. Tickets on the day of the event will be $5 and $3.
Proceeds from the event go to help various organizations and projects, including the Make A Difference Day Community Food Drive, the Goodwill Wheel-A-Thon, and several others.
