Funding Available For Marion Homeless

December 6, 2009

The Marion Area Counseling Center has announced that it has received its first allocation of Housing Prevention and Rapid Re-Housing Program monies.

This program will provide financial and case management assistance to eligible individuals and families who are either homeless or facing eviction/homelessness.

The intent of the program is to provide services to such eligible households so that at the end of assistance, persons would be able to sustain housing over time and no longer be at risk of homelessness.

Eligibility for services will be based from a housing assessment, income verification, and a person’s willingness to participate in the program.

For more information please call: Jackie at the Marion Area Counseling Center, Inc. 387-5210 or, if in Crawford County,  Fran or Tami at Ohio Heartland Community Action Galion office at 419-468-5121.
