This week has brought lots of attention to the First Time Buyer Tax Credit of 2009, as it is the current legislation will expire on November 30th. Consumers must have their transaction closed by this date in order to receive their $8000 tax credit from the government, that is unless the credit is extended in some way.
My next post will go into the tax credit and how that is coming along, for now here are this week’s statistics for homes sold in the Marion MLS (Multiple Listing Service).

The Fire will be lit under the kettle about 7am on the last Saturday in October, the 31st of October at Lawrence Orchard. That will leave us about the next 7 hours to share stirring duties. Hopefully around 2pm we should be taking off some of the best applebutter you’ve ever tasted. There will be canned jars available late in the day.
At the same time they will be grinding their horseradish crop. Horseradish is a root which when ground gives off the most pungent smell around. It’s an experience you won’t want to miss. Then take home a jar or two of Lawrence’s
“Hot as Hades Horseradish” to share with someone you love.
Make sure you bring the kids and the cameras to these “living history” experiences!
