Grandpa Granger & The Assistant
When I joined Real Estate Showcase in Marion nearly three years ago I was not only new to real estate but also pretty new to Marion. Another agent that had joined the agency just a few months before I did, though he had been licensed for about 50 years. I was attracted to this guy because I knew from the second I met him that he was one of the most fascinating people I had ever met. His name is Richard (Dick) Granger, though I quickly dubbed him Grandpa Granger, at the time he had been a licensed Realtor for over 50 years.
While my ‘assistant’ and I were in the office today I realized that I don’t think I have ever taken a much needed moment to thank Dick for his time, patience and all the knowledge he has shared with me. Over the past three years he has held my hand through countless transactions, patiently explained real world scenarios and set a wonderful example of what I hope for my own career.
I want to be a lifetime Realtor, the person that you know can trust and rely on for your real estate needs. Someone that you are confident referring to your friends and family for assistance buying or selling a home. Thanks for everything Grandpa Granger, words cannot express how much your friendship means to me and my family.
